Summary: Rackspace does a substantial amount of business in the UK and far less on continental Europe. It is now looking more closely at opportunities there. Expansion to new markets would normally require a significant investment. But the managed third party cloud model changes that. AWS and Azure can put service providers into any major market around the world without having to outlay any CapEx. It is also a reason why Google would not be getting much interest from MSP and service provider partners. Its footprint is severely limited at this point.
