Summary: Desktop connection broker vendor Leostream released version 8.2 of its flagship software. New features include Leostream Gateway, which provides remote desktop protocol (RDP) and HTML-5 -based access to remote desktops through a web browser, with no need for a download or plug-in on the device. The latest version also includes: collaboration tools that work in environments using the HP RGS media protocol; integration with Microsoft Azure; and, new security and provisioning controls for AWS environments. The Leostream Connection Broker is hypervisor- and cloud-agnostic that enables customers and service provider partners to deliver and manage on-premises, cloud and hybrid desktops-as-a-service (DaaS) offerings.
