Summary: Hostway shared two interesting data points about its managed Azure customer base. Almost all of the customers are net new additions to Hostway. They were not previously customers. But among those customers, 60-70% are now buying a traditional infrastructure service along with managed Azure. A traditional service being primarily private cloud and Azure Stack is expected to push these numbers further. This is a good snapshot of how managed third party cloud can be a driver of new revenue opportunities and part of a larger outsourcing relationship. As previously mentioned, Hostway currently supports Azure and will be rolling out managed AWS in late 4Q17. It has also licensed some DevOps automation capabilities from Bespin Global to enable managed third party cloud.
