Summary: Building on the launch of three new VMs last summer, Microsoft introduced two more VMs in the UK, targeting the very high and low ends of the market. The M-Series VMs are designed for heavy workloads and can support up to 128 virtual CPUs with 20TB of memory. Data can be transferred between VMs at up to 30Gbps. The B-series is a low-cost range of VMs that size as needed so customers can use and pay for the compute power as and when they need it. Microsoft will also make its Notification Hubs available in its UK data centre, allowing users to send push notifications to their customers regardless of the platform.
