Summary: VMware rolled out a number of new SaaS-based products and features targeted at hybrid cloud infrastructure deployments. One of the interesting new products is Hybrid Cloud Extension, which provides application mobility to extend across self-managed enterprise data centres and IBM Cloud and VMware Cloud on AWS. VMware also expanded cost management capabilities across VMware private clouds, AWS and Azure. It is also using machine learning and log analytics to scan for anomalies in VMware-based data centres and VMware Cloud on AWS.
