Summary: Dutch MSP and cloud services Vancis recently started migrating its first customer – from the education sector – to Microsoft Azure. The process started with mapping out the existing IT environment, dividing it into functional components and defining the migration strategy. Vancis has now started the second phase of the project by optimising applications where possible and migrating them to Azure. The next phase will involve further optimisation. Vancis also has a hybrid infrastructure service available. A good snapshot of how MSPs are moving towards managed third party cloud.
