Summary: DE-CIX has become the first IX in Germany to offer direct connectivity to Microsoft ExpressRoute in Frankfurt, through its DE-CIX DirectCLOUD offering. Previously, customers in Germany could only connect to Azure via Amsterdam. DE-CIX Frankfurt provides connectivity to over 50 CSPs including AWS, GCP and specialised, regional and niche providers.
