Summary: Datum Datacentres launched the Datum Cloud Connect service providing direct connectivity to AWS Direct Connect (via the AWS EU West region) and Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute (via the Azure North Europe region) from its Farnborough data centre in southern England. Datum is part of Attenda, which provides colocation and hosting services via Datum’s facility. Attenda also launched the Attenda Cloud Exchange to provide direct connectivity to AWS Direct Connect and Microsoft Azure ExpressRoute. Connectivity to other public clouds and Microsoft Office 365 is planned.
