Summary: Microsoft rolled out the preview release of Kubernetes 1.4 for the Azure Container Service. Azure now supports the Kubernetes, Docker Swarm and DC/OS container orchestration tools. Also now in preview is the Azure Container Registry, which enables end users to store Docker-formatted images on Azure. The Azure Container Service Engine is now an open source project to help drive improvements in managing containers on Azure. Azure is taking concerted steps to accommodate container-based workloads on its cloud.
