Summary: Oregon-based infrastructure hosting provider Opus Interactive is providing low latency direct access to cloud providers in the Portland market including AWS, Azure and Google Cloud Platform. The Opus Lit Network Services provide a redundant multi-provider ring connecting four data centres in the greater Portland area, including Infomart Hillsboro and Tata Communications’s BB1 facility in which Opus has a presence, as well as EdgeConneX and the Pittock Block, home to the Pittock Internet Exchange. The ring has capacity to provide network services from any of the four data centres, with 10Mbps to 200Gbps per channel. We had the chance to speak with Opus Interactive management earlier this year.
