Summary: Datadog recently added monitoring capabilities for Azure Storage to its portfolio of Microsoft Azure services. Datadog will provide capacity metrics to allow users to understand the size of their Azure storage units and how close they are to reaching capacity, as well as transaction metrics, which tell customers how long it took to access files from a particular storage account and give explanations for any network errors as well as insight into connection latency and throttling. The data will be formatted alongside other metrics Datadog pulls from Azure to deliver a full overview of the network, applications and storage. Before the launch of the service, customers would either send their Azure storage data to Datadog for analysis or build their own custom service. Datadog is also available on AWS Marketplace.
