Summary: Rackspace partnered up with a systems integrator called Lightstream to provide an end-to-end managed Azure service. Lightstream is focused on the strategy, consulting, on-boarding and migration process. Rackspace will handle the ongoing managed services. Another good snapshot of how hosters are looking for help with the on-boarding piece when it comes to managed third party cloud and how the lines between pureplay hosters and MSPs and integrators are going to continue blurring. Partnership can be another way to evaluate a potential acquisition.
