Summary: CloudGenix’s Autonomous SD-WAN and CloudBlades products are now integrated with Microsoft Azure Virtual WAN. Instead of having to set up private connectivity to the cloud from every remote office, Azure with CloudGenix gives customers seamless connectivity to Azure services from all branch offices globally. Global packaging company ProAmpac is a customer. CloudGenix is based in California and was founded in 2013. It raised $65m in Series C funding in April, bringing its total raise to nearly $100m. The company claimed 300% y/y growth in 2018 that was driven by 90%+ win rates against legacy networking vendors, as companies replace physical routers with its software-defined wide area network (SD-WAN) technology. CloudGenix claims its Autonomous SD-WAN solution delivers 50-70% cost savings over hardware. The CloudBlades platform was launched in June, delivering network (SD-WAN), security, voice, multi-cloud access and operational tools from the cloud with no additional hardware or software. It was claimed to be an industry first, delivering branch infrastructure as a cloud service with the cost savings and agility associated with other cloud services. It is cloud agnostic, so presumably integrations with other cloud providers will follow.
