Summary: Microsoft plans to invest $1b in Poland over seven years to boost digital transformation in the country and seed a technology hub. Central to Microsoft’s plans is to build its first Poland data centre for a cloud region. Money will also be directed to training an estimated 150k employees, partners and students on Azure and (presumably) other Microsoft services like Microsoft 365, Dynamics 365 and Power Platform. To support its plans, Microsoft has signed a partnership agreement with local cloud provider Chmura Krajowa.
