Summary: Minnesota-based agricultural technology firm Land O’Lakes is moving its existing Microsoft Office and related applications to Office 365. The company will also use the Azure Cortana Analytics platform for big data analytics. It is migrating more than 2k Windows and Linux servers, as well as workloads related to its satellite data, from owned data centres to Azure. One of the company’s units is using the Google Cloud Platform to design a data analytics system, and Land O’Lakes is also using some AWS services. The company ultimately aims to move as much of its IT systems to the cloud as possible. A good snapshot of cloud migration.
