Summary: Microsoft expanded its Southeast Asia region for Azure, based out of Singapore, by putting availability zones into GA. Microsoft indicated there is a minimum of three separate zones in all enabled regions, but stopped short of identifying the data centres it is using in Singapore. The move comes soon after Microsoft struck a strategic partnership with Singapore-based Grab.
